OrQuiz FAQ: pricing and credits
How much does a game cost?
A standard game with smartphones or computers costs one credit: $24.99 including taxes. You pay per activation, so there is no subscription. You can host up to 200 players.
Can I create and test a quiz for free?
Yes. First, create your own quiz for free. There is no limit on how many quizzes you create. Next, test that same quiz with up to 3 players for free. This lets you check your questions, devices and internet connection before your event.
Exactly when do I use a credit?
The system uses the credit when you move from question 5 to question 6 with at least 4 players. Simply creating a quiz does not use a credit. Likewise, buying credits does not start a game.
Do I buy credits for one specific quiz?
No. Credits pay for activations, rather than a named quiz. For example, you can buy credits first and create your quiz later. Alternatively, prepare your quiz, purchase credits and then host it. Choose the order that suits you.
How long do credits last?
Credits normally remain valid for six months from the purchase date. Larger packages may have longer validity periods. However, the account does not currently display the expiry date. Contact us if you need to check your package.
Are there discounts or larger packages?
Yes. The purchase screen shows current prices and discounts for packs of 1–10 credits. Because offers can change, check the price there before buying. For larger packages, contact OrQuiz to discuss your needs and credit validity.
What happens if my game is interrupted?
You can return to the game and continue from where you stopped. However, restarting a game after it has used its credit requires another credit. If you have no credits left, you cannot start it again from the beginning.
OrQuiz FAQ: devices and running the game
Does anyone need to download an app?
No. Both the host and players use a web browser. Players can join from smartphones or computers. They see the questions and game content on their own screens, rather than only on a central display.
Can I host from my phone without a projector?
Yes. A computer is more comfortable for the host, but a phone also works. Moreover, a central screen is optional because players see the content on their devices. This makes a quiz possible on trips and at outdoor gatherings with a suitable internet connection.
Who controls the pace?
The host controls when to move to the next question. When the host advances, the game moves forward for everyone. Therefore, you can pause to explain an answer, share a story or give your group more context.
Can we play in teams?
Yes. Team play is available for advanced hosts. Before your first team event, explore the tutorials and rehearse the setup. For a straightforward first game, start with individual players.
Languages, design and support
Which languages does OrQuiz support?
The system is available in English, Hebrew and Arabic. Games support both left-to-right and right-to-left text. As a result, you can also create content in other languages and check its layout during your free test.
What makes the experience different?
OrQuiz brings a bright, modern TV game-show feel to your questions. It suits classrooms, family celebrations and company events. In addition, premium clients can request custom design. Contact us to discuss the look you want before ordering.
What about schools, basic phones or clickers?
We work with schools across different communities. School packages and specialist setups are available. Basic phones use a dial-in option, while clickers require a separate setup. These options have different pricing, so contact us for the right arrangement.
How can I get help?
Support is available by email, and the site includes tutorials. We do not offer telephone support. Start with the OrQuiz guide, then contact us if you need help with your setup.
